These Terms of Service govern your use of Clicked Emotions. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are written to be understood, not avoided.
Clicked Emotions is a private AI-powered journaling application operated by Coding Monks OÜ (registry code: 16568458, Estonia). The service allows you to create, store, and analyse personal journal entries with emotion detection and AI-generated insights.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and recovery key. We cannot recover your encrypted data if you lose both.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts created to circumvent usage limits or bans will be terminated.
New accounts receive 3 free journal entries. After that, continued use requires a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed at the time of upgrade.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. If you have an active paid plan, price changes do not take effect until your current billing period ends.
You own everything you write. Your journal entries, photos, and all content you create in the app belong to you.
You grant Coding Monks OÜ a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your journal content and do not use it for any purpose beyond delivering the features you explicitly use.
Because your content is end-to-end encrypted, we technically cannot access it. This licence exists only to cover the brief period during AI processing (see our Privacy Policy, Section 4).
Clicked Emotions uses AI (Google Gemini) to transcribe handwriting and detect emotions. These features are provided as tools to support your self-reflection — not as medical, psychological, or diagnostic services.
AI transcriptions may contain errors. Emotion labels are probabilistic and should not be treated as clinical assessments. The Insight Journey feature is a creative synthesis, not therapy.
Clicked Emotions is not a mental health service and is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis or need support, please contact a qualified mental health professional or crisis line in your country.

Violating these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 90 days’ notice and provide a way for you to export your data before shutdown.
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that AI transcriptions or emotion analyses will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coding Monks OÜ disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coding Monks OÜ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data.
Because journal content is end-to-end encrypted and we do not hold decryption keys, we accept no liability for loss of data resulting from a forgotten password and lost recovery key.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.
On termination, all your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 4, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
